Amazing gardens with unusual plants and trees. Beautiful established gardens with rare plants and trees. Many of the trees are Champion trees of national importance. The gardens are laid out in formal and informal settings. With an extensive greenhouse housing plants completely new to us. Lovely formal gardens. A plants man's delight. Enormous established trees. A naturalised woodland valley with trees from around the World. All cared for by friendly and knowledgeable people. Such a gem of a garden. We loved it ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Had a wonderful time at the annual Tregrehan Plant Fair. The cakes at the tea shop were delicious and the Tregrehan gardens are a joy to wander through, full of rare and sub tropical plants. The fair itself has some of the countryโ€™s best specialist nurseries.

Absolutely superb garden to visit. A must is the yew walk through the edge of the area.

Little gem tucked away in south Cornwall. Fascinating collection of exotic plants from all over the world. Tree ferns are excellent. Varied walks but steep in parts as you go down into the valley. Really enjoyed this place!

After driving up to the car park area, the first challenge is to find the bell to alert staff of your presence so you can pay the ยฃ10 pp entrance fee. It a rope bell by the second door! It's worth it as these are amazing gardens with a lovely walled garden and its original greenhouse. There are lots of gravel paths to explore the exotic trees and shrubs. Plus a somewhat hidden valley completed with babling brook and lake. Feels like time has stood still for decades and some usable benches would be appreciated in this 25 acre wonderland. Tea & coffee available at reception.

An absolute gem! Much bigger than I imagined. Really good value, stunning trees, some are enormous and clearly very old. The greenhouses are packed full of exotic and heavily scented plants, many were completely unfamiliar to me so it was an absolute delight. We come to Cornwall every year and stay at Pentewan but I wish we had discovered this garden before now. I think it will become one of our regular haunts. Some of the paths are rather steep but we'll worth the climb. Could do with a few more seats and some better signposting but we will definitely return. Highly recommend.
